Happy Mother’s Day! When it happens, maybe you will scroll your gallery in your phone and chose your best photo of your mother and you. And then, you post it in every social media you have with the caption, “Happy Mother’s Day!”. Maybe you will buy a bouquet of flowers and make some food together so you can feel the bond of each other and feel the moment.

There are lots of way to express about this complex mother-child relation. Some of you just like a stranger when you meet your mother because you’re not too close with your mother, or other who can be really love to have the moment with their mother.

It’s really sensitive for the emotion of daughter or son whose hasn’t accompanied by their mother anymore in this world. Due to the experience that we had faced, I think we’re all bond in silent mother-child relation. It’s a hard day for the people in those situations.

For you who already in it, losing a parent is really challenging when you’re just starting to spread your wings into adulthood, especially who really want to learn to fly.

I remember the scene of Popular Korean Drama, “Reply 1988”. The day when Sung Dong Il just lost his mother and he asked to Choi Taek (who lost his mother when he was kid). “When do you miss your mother most?”, Dong Il asked.

Taek just stoned staring at Dong Il and his eyes started to glaze over while he replied, “Every day”, “I miss my mother every single day.”

An adult-like child is just one without complaints. It’s just that they have acclimated to the world of adults and they grown used to the illusion around them. — Reply 1988

The pain is still on the deep down into our mind and still in there. We never know it can be erased or maybe forever in there. All we can do is just manage it, hiding it

As the time passed by, you will probably miss them even more. If you have a good bond with your mother, then those good memories are hard to goes away. Your soul will find a way to use this pain as a source of strength to stay inspired, motivated, and make the best of the time you have in this world.

I love the way when Buzz Lightyear screams out about his iconic line, “TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!”. It is really something, we can match that line for lots of situation. In this case, his line match with the bond of souls that never end by the time and place, especially a mother-child bond. When you are living without your mother, Mother’s Day seems like every day, beyond the time and place in this world.

To all of you who miss your mother, I send you my love and support.

Sherina Munaf give us a good lyric of her song, “Andai Aku Besar Nanti (If I Grow Up Later)”. She said, “If I Grow Up Later, I will give as good as your love gave to me, My Mother, My Light, illuminate my soul in every time I walk.”

Thank You, Mother. I will do well.

All your qualities and strengths you saw in her are attaching into you because you’re from her flesh and blood. She gave you love all of her life, raising you the whole of her life, her mind was filled with your laughs, cries, stories of you. Even though she hasn’t had the chance to know you longer, she would have confident that you will continue to share her legacy in the best way. So don’t ever doubt yourself, don’t ever feel that you’re useless. Your mother is waiting, because she believes your soul will reunited in the most beautiful garden of paradise.
